Kenya's Energy Oversight: EPRA Collaboration

During our visit in Kenya, we had the honor of meeting with EPRA, the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority. As the regulatory body overseeing Kenya's energy and petroleum sectors, EPRA is instrumental in ensuring fair practices, compliance, and the overall sustainability of the industry. Our discussions with EPRA Director General Mr. Daniel Kiptoo Bargoria and his team provided invaluable insights into the regulatory landscape. We commend their dedication to fostering an environment conducive to renewable energy initiatives.

Furthermore, our team engaged with representatives from Kenya Power, a cornerstone entity in the country's power sector. Responsible for the transmission, distribution, and retail of electricity nationwide, Kenya Power plays a crucial role in the energy ecosystem. Discussions with Kenya Power's GM, Mrs. Rosemary Oduor, deepened our understanding of the broader electricity infrastructure and highlighted collaborative opportunities within the sector.
